Please refer to the images below to determine the Smart Plug (Range Extender) that you have and the corresponding instructions on resetting this device.


Smart Plug TypeAction Required
  1. Plug in the Smart Plug (Range Extender) into the power outlet.
  2. Using a small pin, press the reset button (located on the right hand side of the plug) in once on the right hand side of the device.
  3. The LED light in the top right hand corner will start to flash magenta rapidly.
  4. Press the middle power button twice.
  5. The LED light in the top right hand corner will display solid magenta for a few seconds then go back to flashing rapidly before going to a slow flash.
  6. The device is now ready to be connected to your Emberpulse® unit.

  1. Unplug the Smart Plug (Range Extender) from the power outlet
  2. Using a small pin, press and hold the reset button (located on the right hand side of the plug).
  3. Whilst still holding the reset button in, plug the Smart Plug into the power outlet.
  4. When the Network indicator light flashes rapidly, let go of the reset button.
  5. Unplug the Smart Plug and then plug it back in.
  6. The device is now ready to be connected to your Emberpulse® unit.
