I am unable to find my home Wi-Fi network in the Wi-Fi network list for selection

  • Please check that your router is on and you can connect to it successfully from another device like a smartphone, tablet or notebook computer
  • Check the frequency that your Wi-Fi network runs on. Most networks use 2.4 GHz and your Emberpulse unit supports this. Some networks use 5 GHz and your Emberpulse unit cannot use those networks.


I am getting an error message Connected to Wi-Fi network "[Home Wi-Fi Network Name]" but the Internet is not available. Check your router status.

  • The Emberpulse unit has successfully connected to your home Wi-Fi network and has been assigned an IP address. However, it has been unable to connect to the Internet.
  • This error is router specific and there could be a number of reasons why this error has occurred:
    • Your Internet is down.
    • Your router is blocking the Emberpulse unit from accessing the Internet.
    • There is a firewall blocking your Emberpulse unit.
    • There is a rule setting within your router blocking the actual Emberpulse unit.
    • There is a rule setting within your router that is blocking the IP address that was assigned to your Emberpulse unit.


I am getting an error message ERROR: Could not save your Wi-Fi credentials

  • A message was sent to your Emberpulse unit with your home Wi-Fi credentials. However, a success response was not received back from the unit.
  • Check to make sure that your device is still connected to the hello-emberpulse-XXXXXXXX network and it hasn't switched back to your home Wi-Fi network, then try again.
