Emberpulse Unit Setup

• Select Log in to continue

• Enter in your Emberpulse account username or associated email address

• Enter in your Emberpulse account password

• Select Log in to continue

• Select Connect Emberpulse to Wi-Fi to continue

• Before you start, make sure you have the following things noted down:
  • Your home Wi-Fi password
  • The last 8 characters of your MAC and CODE (located on the back of your Emerpulse unit)

• Select Continue

Locate the list of wireless networks on your device by looking for the following symbol: 

• Usually located in the bottom right hand corner on devices with Windows installed

• Usually located in the top right hand corner on Apple computers

• Look for the network "hello-emberpulse-XXXXXXXX" where XXXXXXXX are the last 8 characters of the MAC that you noted down earlier

• You will be asked to enter a password for this network, enter in the last 8 characters of the CODE that you noted down earlier. Make sure that all the letters are in capitals and there are no spaces entered between the first 4 characters and the last 4 characters

• Go back to the webpage and select Continue

• Enter in your Emberpulse Account password

• Select your home Wi-Fi from the list of visible networks

• Enter in the password for your home Wi-Fi network

• Select Continue

• This section displays the status of the connection process

• No action is required during this process unless if an error message appears.
  • Refer to Common Issues section for information regarding potential error messages

• Your Emberpulse unit has successfully connected to your home Wi-Fi

• Select Continue

• Select I have noted my sub-meter type and am ready to connect to continue

• Note the image of the Embermeter displayed as this is what you will be looking for inside your meter box

• Read the instructions displayed

• Press Add to continue and then go outside to your meter box to connect your Embermeter(s)
