Why is the cost of my electricity bill different from the information in the Emberpulse system?

First, ensure that the tariff rates and billing period dates entered into the Emberpulse system are correct. You can do this by comparing the rates in the Emberpulse system with those listed on your most recent electricity bill. Also please remember that costs calculated by the Emberpulse system are approximate and may not take into account:

  1. Taxes
  2. Any additional discounts
  3. Credit card fees

Why is the billing period dates in the Emberpulse system different to what my electricity bill shows?

Billing period start and end dates are dependent upon when your electricity meter is read by the distributor, this is usually not done on the same date every billing period. Therefore, there could be a difference of a few days in the billing period shown on your electricity bill and what is displayed in the Emberpulse system.
